When a business owner connects a Google account, Alma Booking uses Google Calendar access only to synchronize appointments created in the booking system.

Google Sign-In / OAuth consent

During the OAuth process, the user chooses a Google account and grants Alma Booking permission to access the requested Google services.

  • The user explicitly starts the connection from Alma Booking.
  • The user sees the Google consent screen before granting access.
  • The user can revoke access at any time from their Google Account permissions page.
  • Alma Booking uses the authorization only for the connected business account.

Google Calendar synchronization

Alma Booking uses Google Calendar to keep business bookings synchronized with the user's calendar.

  • Create calendar events when a new booking is made.
  • Update booking events when appointment details change.
  • Remove or update events when bookings are cancelled.
  • Help avoid scheduling conflicts and duplicate appointments.

The use and transfer of information received from Google APIs will comply with the Google API Services User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements.
